Nick Sirianni Honors Make-A-Wish Request by Challenging Young Eagles Fan to Fight in Philly Hospital

Nick Sirianni made a young Eagles fan’s dream come true this morning. Not with autographs, game tickets, or a pep talk, but by marching into a local hospital and fighting him.

"I'm so sad I have to miss Birds games. Especially the chance to interact with Coach Sirianni, who isn’t shy about throwing down with fans when he thinks they’re out of line," said Little Timmy Glass, fresh bruises on his face courtesy of his hero.

Sirianni, still riding high from his recent Super Bowl victory, had heard the story of Timmy's dream. A diehard Eagles fan battling cancer, whose one wish was to meet his favorite coach... and be challenged to a fight by him.

"It was the least I could do," Sirianni told reporters. "I never want to get so big-headed that I’m above squaring up with fans, no matter their age or medical condition."

And so, at exactly 8:08 AM, Sirianni burst through the hospital doors, fully in character, ready to deliver on Timmy’s wish.

"What the hell did you just say?!" Sirianni bellowed, startling the barely-awake child. "You think you could’ve called a better play there? You think you’re better than me?"

It took Timmy a moment to register what was happening before Sirianni doubled down.

"Why don’t you get up off that hospital bed, and I’ll show you what it’s like to take a run at the king?"

"For real???" Timmy grinned.

"For real." Sirianni said with a smirk tossing him a pair of gloves. "Now get up out of the hosptial bed so I can punch you in the mouth for the Love of the Birds."

Drew Forbes

Drew was raised by his 3 dads on an Emu farm in Humboldt, Iowa. He has an irrational fear of cockroaches, and seafood restaurants that leave some of the skin on the fish they serve. In August, 2019 Drew blacked out drinking bourbon Manhattans, and when he woke up the next morning this website had been created. Drew doesn’t have a beard, but if he decided to grow one it would easily become the most interesting thing about him. When he grows up some day, he wants to die.
